1. Alter the typing settings in the Settings app- This solution is one of the simplest one to get tried. 

1. Firstly, go to Settings app, then Device followed by Typing.
2. Now, turn off the options of Highlight misspelled words and Autocorrected misspelled words. Note that the autocorrect feature is actually based on the input language of your keyboard. So, just be sure which keyboard input language you are using. In case, if you counter the issue of Skype not connecting properly, then you can go for some of the quick solutions like checking the internet and server connectivity, resetting the app, or modifying the settings etc.  

2. Unchecking the Autocorrect feature in Skype- Besides the altering of the typing speed, you can also move on to the solution of unchecking the autocorrect feature in your Skype.

1. Unlock the Skype and then head to Tools, and then options.
2. After this, you need to head to IM & SMS > IM Settings and tap the Show Advanced Options.
3. Now, simply uncheck the box of Auto correct and Highlight misspelled words.
4. After unchecking the box, simply click the Save button to save the changes.
